A Day in the Life of Jo: Chapter Phaedra
Francesca Beale Theater
Hosted by Film at Lincoln Center
Contemporary suburban Athens becomes the site of astronomical, ethereal beauty in Greek filmmaker Jacqueline Lentzou’s audacious film, which glances at the ephemerality of life with humor and poignancy as it charts a consequential day for 15-year-old Jo. Winner of Orizzonti Award for Best Director at the 2026 Venice Film Festival.
