Jane Monheit is an acclaimed jazz and adult contemporary vocalist celebrated for her interpretation of the Great American Songbook. A second-place winner of the Thelonious Monk Competition while still a student at the Manhattan School of Music, Monheit quickly launched an international career, performing and recording with legends including Tommy Flanagan, Ron Carter, Kenny Barron, Terence Blanchard, Christian McBride, and John Pizzarelli. With more than two decades of international touring and twelve studio albums, she has performed at venues including Carnegie Hall, the Hollywood Bowl, the Village Vanguard, and Birdland, while also making numerous television appearances and contributing to film soundtracks. Beyond performing, Monheit is an educator and lyricist, continuing to share her experience and passion for jazz with audiences and students around the world.
